The events are always very informal and that helps spark a lively conversation. I always try to be frank and drop any political point scoring – to discuss openly and in detail the pros and cons of some recent policy choices.
We discussed measures in the recent Budget, prospects for future interest rate cuts, the potential investment by Universal Studios and, unavoidably, possible dates for the next election.
